Double Trouble V2 Recap

Wow! I can’t say enough about what a great day Saturday was. We held our 2nd Annual Double Trouble Competition – our biggest competition EVER! We ended up with a total of 47 teams across 3 divisions, and probably 200+ people roll through. Even with this huge turnout, we were able to run a tight ship with a lot of great fitness being tested and displayed, other than a slight need for more restrooms (don’t worry we’ve made a mental note for future events).

We have a lot of people to Thank, without their help and support, this would not have been possible:

  • TK – Our wonderful MC; she rocked the mic all day long!
  • Volunteers – setup in the morning early, were on point all day in between heats changing out weights and equipment, and most of them also went non stop in the next category too…
  • Judges – lots of different people stepped up, and we couldn’t have done it without you! We also had some who were competing jump in when needed, which was a HUGE help.
  • Athletes – competed hard, cheered hard for friends, and showed what putting it all out on the floor looked like repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Friends & Family – came out to support, cheer, yell, encourage, glamorize on Instagram, feed, and help the athletes in so many ways.
  • Sponsors – Virus, Life-Aid, That’s It, Quest, Territory, and What the Fruit. Thank you for donating lots of great prizes and supporting this event in many other ways.
  • Planning/Logistics – Victor was a huge help in this, including scoring some much needed bumpers in the nick of time, fixing our most often used pull-up bar, and various other things.

It was great to see our own teams come out in force and compete hard. We had a great showing, taking 3 podium spots – 2nd and 3rd in the super deep Intermediate division which had 34 teams. Yes, you read that right – 34 teams!! Our very own, Dustin and Jenna also took home the Gold in the Masters 35+ division.
