Butt Wink

Seeing as we are in a squat cycle, I thought the topic of the butt wink was relevant to bring back around.

The butt wink and what it means in the squat is an interesting topic. It’s often talked about as a fault when talking about loading, but I’ve never necessarily agreed with that. The posterior pelvic tilt which occurs at the very bottom of a flat footed squat has always seemed natural to me, and if you’ve seen me squat, you know I like the deeper the better. This video is probably one of the better explanations I’ve heard about the butt wink. Watch and learn. #GetSomeKnowledge
