Big congrats to John and Vanessa for having their twins last week!! Another successful CrossFit pregnancy, this one yielding 12 pounds of healthy boys!

While the topic of continuing to workout while pregnant can be sensitive, especially in regards to CrossFit, we’ve had a good amount of experience in this area and nothing but good stories. We’ve had several women continue to train through their pregnancy – some right up until the last week or two before they delivered. I know that seems crazy, but with the right approach and mindset, they all said it made them feel much much better.

The video below that CrossFit HQ produced on the topic is probably one of the best I’ve seen. If you’re pregnant, thinking about getting pregnant, know someone who is, or just want to watch a great perspective on it, I urge you to watch this. The mom in the video (an affiliate owner) is beyond well spoken and really illustrates a great point of view on how she went through a couple of pregnancies herself while continuing to workout, and also how she has coached many, many other women through the same process.
