No winners on the guessing game, but you guys were right about the DB being used right away. I think most people are happy to see the DB Snatch over say OH Walking Lunges – I tried those and they were AWFUL!! Those Games guys made the workout look easyish, but if you watched Ro and Boz go after then you saw a little closer representation to how bad this will suck for us normal people. The only good news – it will be over in 20 minutes…wait, that’s A LOT of minutes! Check out the 17.1 Announcement and Standards below…

For Time:
10 Alternating Dumbbell Sntaches (50#/35#)
15 Burpee Box Jump Overs (24″/20″)
20 Alternating Dumbbell Sntaches
15 Burpee Box Jump Overs
30 Alternating Dumbbell Sntaches
15 Burpee Box Jump Overs
40 Alternating Dumbbell Sntaches
15 Burpee Box Jump Overs
50 Alternating Dumbbell Sntaches
15 Burpee Box Jump Overs

Time Cap: 20 Minutes.

Use a clock counting upward and note times of completed sets of burpee box jump overs. Each rep of the dumbbell snatch starts on the ground, and any rep which is not good needs to repeated on the same arm until good. The box needs to be setup on a visible line bisecting it. Each rep of the burpee box jump must start with the chest on the line and hands and feet straddling each side of the line. To complete the workout Rx’d, the jump on to the box must be with a two footed take off and a two footed landing on the box (if you’re jumping over the box, you must land with two feet on the other side). You can step down from the top of the box and do not need to open up your hips on top of the box before stepping/jumping down. For the full standards and video, go here.
