Make LAX Your HQ
LAX CrossFit is pleased to announce they will be opening their doors to all qualified competitors heading to Los Angeles for the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games. We will be closing our doors to the general public to allow the competitors to prepare for the Games in any fashion they choose.
We have a large, state of the art facility that is a few miles away from both LAX Airport, CFHQ’s base in Torrance, and The Home Depot Center. We’re right off the freeway (look for our sign as you are leaving the airport!) and a short drive to almost all popular Los Angeles destinations.
Hours and Info
- No fee. But if you break something we’re going to make you do a shit ton of burpees after the Games.
- Any registered 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games athelete may come in and use our facility
- Each athlete may bring up to 3 other people without prior approval.
- Every weekday from July 9th thru July 12th from 10am – noon and 1pm – 5pm. (we are not available from noon to 1pm)
- If you plan on needing time before hand or during the weekend please send us an email.
- 4200+ SF Box. New equipment. Badass pullup rig. The works.
Again – we will be charging no fee for this. It’s a token of our appreciation to the biggest, best, and in some cases the fastest rising stars in the CrossFit community.

Be Smart. Come Early. Get Acclimated.
Los Angeles is a very different place than most regions of the world. Mid July, expect temperatures to be dry and mid-80′s to mid-90′s in the LAX Region. Local environmental issues like smog, pollen, altitude (or lack thereof) can affect your physical performance, and intangible things like dealing with LA traffic without knowing traffic patterns and best routes can affect your mind state.
We think it’s best to get in early and get acclimated to the differences. Settle in and get comfortable in your surroundings before competing for the biggest prize in our sport.
We can provide infrastructure for you to setup your home base, should you need. Internet service is available (but don’t bank on it being super fast). Local members of our staff can assist you if you need information or help finding certain items or businesses. Feel free to bring in your own multimedia equipment if you want to record your movements, we have a big screen television you can play it back on.
Limited Spots Available
Registration for spots is required. Spaces will be limited. We don’t want to make the experience crappy for everyone by overbooking the facility. Any athlete interested in reserving a spot for this program, please contact us ASAP.
