Content Request
It seems that every time I’m at the box and I spend a few minutes shooting the shit with a member, something comes up where I can help their development by further explaining something. I’m sure this experience is similar for the other coaches and staff members around the box as well.
What I’d like to do is open up a forum for you guys, our members, to throw some content requests against the wall. I’m sure the same concepts I go over here and there with members would prove to be informative or entertaining to some members who don’t happen to be around and/or ask the question.
So what do you all got? Have you hung around the box wondering why so-and-so was doing something in particular? Were you looking for a more in depth explanation to a Fundies lecture? Did you happen to be staring at someone’s abs while CrossPhysics was being explained? (stay tuned, that post is coming up this week!) Drop any and all content requests on me, either by the comments below or emailing me directly.
NLI Recap
As you know, a bunch of us competed at NLI this weekend. Don’t fret – I’ll be writing up a full recap of the event tomorrow night, once I can get my grubby lil hands on some photos to post alongside it. It was a ton of fun mixed with some sunburn. I know, you wish you were there.

Strength/Skill.
Hang Squat Clean 7 x 2 + 1 Jerk – rest 60 sec
Perform 2 hang squat cleans. After your second hang squat clean, perform 1 jerk. Maximal weight, but don’t let your form get sloppy.

Ooh, Ooh! I have a question! I’ve always wondered how you program the WOD’s. Is there a method to the madness? Is there a specific goal in mind? Or does someone just wake up or get drunk and put it all together? Hehehe! I’m curious.
